Meet at The Jekyll and Hyde from 5.30pm
Chap and Sim were the first to arrive in the J & H soon to be followed by Rog, Phil, Ian & Dave. The attire for the night was the Truro Ale Trail T-shirts which were proudly worn by all participants except Gaylord Rog who opted for his normal tank-top gear. Plenty of decent all was consumed and the usual chat chit-chat some of the topics which included Mario Balotelli's attempts to wrap Xmas prezzies, Simbers and Film 2012 and the next Barmouth session May 13.
The Chaps moved on for a swift pint in the OJS where it was decided that Tone's recent session performances had not been up to scratch. He'd not made it out on the last Chap session of the year blaming the day before's excesses and previous comments of 'I'm saving myself for next week' were taken in to account. A furious debate ensued over what card should be issued. Some more right wing chaps wanted red, Phil wanted a mysterious brown card to be issued??, but the less radical chaps settled on a yellow. With the WATN committee meeting closed we headed off to the next pub.
A jaunt down to the TSS (Temple Street Social) was in order, but we only stayed for a swift pint before moving on to Edmunds.
Edmunds was the last port of call for the night. More ale was consumed with Dave and Phil having a dabble with a table of birds, some were out with their mothers!!. Both the chaps seemed to be getting on alright until one of the women took offence to Ian sitting next to her quite un-obtrusively!. She made some un called for comment to which Ian responded that she was a bit of a big unit. That blew Dave and Phil' chances out of the water. Dave and Phil headed off to a club to leave the rest of the Chaps to work their merry ways home.
Here's to a good New Year.
