Tone & Chap arrived at the Troc at 5.30pm as planned. Rodg was still in the shower when we stopped to pick him up so he followed on later. The pub was full of bluenoses who had been on the lash for most of the day so the atmosphere was a bit volatile. Simbers followed Rodg to the pub and we watched a bit of the Newcastle, Arsenal FA Cup game. Then there was a rare sighting !!!! the Naught Gnome returned from the depths of the 'Where are they now Page' accompanied by Fran for a short while. His lame excuse was that he stayed in playing with his computer, but did promise to get out more often. It was also his 41st birthday, two days ago !!!!. As is usual with the bluenoses, things got a bit out of hand when a scuffle developed amongst themselves, including throwing a glass, but then what can one expect from such low life. The chaps had their usual thrashing by the Millionaire quiz machine before departing to the Slug.
At the Slug, the beer went down as per usual, but there was no footy tournament as most of the regular players had failed to even make the subs bench. A couple of jars were consumed before moving on to Zanzibar.
Here, the Chaps had a beer before deciding to attempt another excursion to the Adam & Eve, Tone remained behind to meet his new missus, whilst Rodg, Simbers, TNG & Chap lobbed in a taxi to the A & E. Again, a late night drinking session was curtailed as the pub had been tipped off about another raid, so all except TNG moved swiftly over the road to Sharma's for the obligatory curry.
Not a bad evening & it was nice to see Steve for the first time in a couple of years, he has promised to be out for Simbers' session on April 13th. This excursion may see him removed from the WATN file !!!!!!.
