Meet in the Old Royal from 5.00pm
As England were playing Scotland in a World Cup Qualifier the venue was changed to the Mooch Bar. Most of the chaps as usual trying desperately to avoid the San Miguel blank expression come home time.
Phil gave a church bazaar excuse and got a serious round of Gaylord text messages, even form Ted who he accused of being a Troll (at least Ted makes it out!!!!). Ian also trotted out some limp excuse of being at the cricket as well.
The main stream chaps ignored the footy apart from the last five minutes which proved to be the most exciting bit with Scotland scoring 2 goals and England equalising with the last kick of the game.
Plenty of grog was consumed and the inevitable san Miguel mind numbing properties set in. Tone was abandoned by Jamie and rung Jo to pick him up, not that he remembers this bit leaving Chap, ted & Steve B. to head for town at the end of the evening. Steve W had taken a more sensible approach and left around 9.00pm
