Meet in the Old Contemptibles around 5.00pm
Afterwards, open to suggestions.
Chap & Sim arrived on time at a rather crowded OC's to start the session off. After a pint we were soon joined by Ian, Tone, Rog and Steve W all managing to cram in a small corner whilst supping another ale. We decided to move elsewhere with Tone keen on watching paint dry (England play rugby!!) and Sis keen to try other pubs.
Next port of call was the Pub du Vin, far less crowded and decent ale (Kinver Light Railway) went down a treat whilst discussing various political aspects including the BA/Unite dispute and munching on peanuts & scratchings. The plan was to head to the Queens Arms to watch the rugby via Edmunds. We also persuaded Phil out with the lure of the paint-watching.
Next port of call was Edmunds, plenty more ale and chat and a reasonable first stint on the quizy before watching the rugby. Steve, Fran and Phil joined the proceedings for the rest of the evening in there - we never made it to The Queens Arms and went on to defeat in a close second half on the quizy.
Sim who was rather bladdered and Ian left for the train home leaving Chap, Phil Rog and Tone to head for a curry. This turned out to be at The old favourite the Taj Mahal - not a bad way to end a good session.
