5.30pm - 7.30pm Hogs Head in town

The Chaps started to assemble in the Hogs Head at around 5.30pm. Heggy & Chap were quickly followed by Phil (who later became 'Robin' of Batman fame for a fancy dress party!!) and Steve to settle in for a taste of some rather decent ales. Dave followed shortly afterwards, not before walking straight past the place and ignoring the Chaps sitting in the window. Speculation as to what Simber's might wear was rife, some of us anticipating him turning up in farming gear since his new job at the NT involves him looking after two farms!!. However, Simber's turned up doing his Crockett impression from Miami Vice !!.
The Chap contingent was completed by the arrival of Tone & a slimline Ted, the table of troops resembled something from 'Fat Friends' as Tone and Ted have lost a combined 10st between them !!!. Almost like losing a Chap!!!!. More ale was consumed with the HH having a fine selection of ales, Abbott Ale, Pedigree, London (Gay) Pride as well as Stella for the lager drinkers. Days of old were discussed in length including the infamous 'Bag of Sick' story told by Steve about Rusty on the Rhyl trip. Phil duly departed, by now dressed as Robin for his Party in Moseley and the rest of the Chaps made their way up to O'Neills on Broad Street.
O'Neills provided suitable entertainment, with the Chaps having a bash on the Millionaire quiz machine. Despite a promising start, things soon got back to the norm with the quizzy ending up the eventual winner. More ales were consumed as well as a bit of Chap dancing, mainly by Steve just before closing time. At this point in time it was decided to head for the Adam and Eve.
All the remaining Chaps arrived by Taxi at the A & E - the plan was to dominate the pool table, but this failed to materialize with Dave 'Billiard Ball' Fish unusually losing his first game, a fate that was subsequently to happen to Heggy. It was left to Tone 'Slim' Whale to restore Chap pride by eventually winning his game. However, he wisely lost to the next bloke on who was so pissed that at one point fell asleep between shots whilst Tone was playing !!!. Simber's left not long after, followed by Heggy, who we thought had already gone, but was hiding listening to the band, leaving the remaining Chaps to depart to Sharmas for a curry.
At one point in time we thought Steve would not make it, having got into the curry house he promptly ran back out to puke all over the pavement. However, much to everyone's surprise he made it back in and ordered a curry. (Maybe he should not have told the 'Bag of Sick' story !!!!). Tone who decided not to have a curry, obviously got a bit peckish as he made light work of every bodies left overs!!, we'll soon get the extra 'Chap' back !!.
This concluded what had been a fine session for the Chap with most having furry heads in the morning
