Meet in the Jekyll & Hyde around 5.30pm - 8.00pm
Afterwards - Open to suggestions
Chap arrived at the J & H to be greeted outside by the chaps from Telford (Daz, Aide & Mark) as well as Simbers & Rog. With a beer quickly obtained from the attractive bar-maid we sat outside enjoying a pleasant afternoon supping. We were joined by Ian followed soon by Tone who was dressed up as 'Uncle Buck' (according to Phil!). The night started to get a bit chilly and as there was no seating in-side the J & H it was time to move on the next port of call.
The OJS provided a warmer place to be and decent ale with the London Pride being a good drop. Plenty of banter and beer were consumed as well as the arrival of the short-one - Phil. After a couple of hours we decided to move to pastures new.
Final port of call was Edmunds, whilst beer was drunk Sim, Chap & Ian got the usual thrashing off the quiz machine and Rog & the Telford chaps made plans for a curry. For once Rog did not do his usual trick and promise but not deliver in the curry department, as the he and the Telford chaps headed off to Milan to round off their proceedings. Ian and Sim departed for home around 10.45pm and so did Tone after dropping his 'I'm getting the bus' bombshell - Uncle Buck and the bus, how times have changed!!.
Chap and Phil got kicked out of Edmunds at midnight and headed towards Broad Street to find a foodery! - Phil's Chinese place had closed so we ended up in the Yardbird for a cider or 3!. Chap had a mad dancing session?? - not sure what all that was about before departing for home via Maccy D's around 1.00am, leaving Phil to party to the wee small hours.
A good night had by all - curries, beer, and no trains missed!
