Review

An excellent day with good weather for the annual Simber's BBQ. The afternoon started with a beer or 3 in the OC's before heading of to Dorridge park for a game of rounders as a change from the usual cricket. This proved to be a tad more energetic than most of the chaps would have envisaged but none the less very enjoyable. The highlight of the game was a spectacular diving one handed catch by Tone to get rid of his arch nemesis Phil. This also left a spectacular 2 foot crater in Dorridge park not to mention the Tone' dislocated shoulder and bruised ribs!!.

The BBQ started around 5 with Chap and Dave (no relation to the cockney crooners by the way) cooking the fine fare supplied by our hosts Di & Sim. With loads of good grub washed down with plenty of grog an excellent time was had by all.

Think rounders should stay on the agenda for next year.
