The Chaps started to assemble in Bacchus at around 5.30, various sandwich concoctions were consumed as well as a fair amount of ale. By 7.30pm eight merry men had assembled, Rog, Chap, Bondbes, Tone, Dave, Nige, Simbers & Tone's brother Steve. A committee meeting also decided to remove Steve B from the 'Where are They now file' after three consecutive appearances.
A plan was formulated by Simber's to head for a pub called Bushwackers, near Pigeon Park, as it had an outside court to sit in. This plan was fundamentally bsuhwacked as a) the place was not open till 8.00pm, and b) it never opened at all that night !!!. This was all observed from the Hog's Head across the road, where the Chap's consumed a wide variety of beers including a sample of 'Black Sheep'. Something to remind Rog of Wales.
After the HH, the Chap's lobbed down to the Slug and Lettuce, here the obligatory game of table footy took place whilst enjoying more beer (including Directors), and a mighty strange disappearing act by Big Tone !!!!. He was awarded the medal for most wastage of the night in terms of beer (3/4 of a pint was left sadly at the table !!!!!).
The Chap's the headed for the A & E (Adam & Eve, not accy & emergency !!!!), where Rog assured us of a late session. However, the plan was again thwarted as the A & E chaps' were being good boys in preparation for their late licence due in a weeks time. The Chap's did enjoy a game of pool, with the Fishman displaying his skills learnt from 2 hour lunches from the DSS!!!!. After this a curry was sort, Simbers left for home, so it was left for Dave, Nige, Steve, Rog & Chap to raid Sharma's. Rog ordered a curry & then decided he couldn't hack it so he cancelled & bailed out. The other Chaps' had a good scoff before heading for home.
