The Chaps assembled in the Old Joint Stock around five-ish. Nige had been on the vino since lunch so was already underway when everybody else arrived. Chap arrived at seven to join Phil, Dave, Nige & Heggy who were already there. The OJS has decent beer but is full of yuppie types on a Friday afternoon / early evening so is not an ideal session pub. However, during our time there we did manage to name a few Chap sporting look-alikes (Chap 'Ernie' Els, Nige 'Ian Bishop' Walters, Dave 'Barthez' Fish) can't remember who we said Heggy was but as an after thought we have Phil 'Robbie Savage' Atkins !!!!!. Around 8.00pm Steve 'David Bailey' Bond arrived with Fran and it was time to lob off to the Troc. We did ask Nige if he fancied popping into 'Red' for a beer but his comments went along the lines of 'Bollox Simbers is not here !!!!'.
A bit more life & music in the Troc where Nige commandeered the Juke box whilst a couple of beers were consumed. Deano joined us for the rest of the evening at this point in time before setting of on a journey to greebness at the Gallows!!.
Arrived at the Gallows where we linked up with Aimee & Maxine, Aimee was celebrating her birthday which was the following day. The Guinness provided decent refreshment although the drinking pace of some left a lot to be desired. Phil's harem joined us shortly after for the celebratory session and Steve provided his usual part piece by head banging to Black Sabbath.

At closing time was time to depart to Edwards for a second instalment of greebness. Here things start to go a bit fuzzy with plenty more beer being consumed. Phil demonstrated his tongue tickling techniques and others practiced their 'pink lizardry' skills whilst sitting on the stairs. Can't remember too much as things are a bit hazy, but people started disappearing one by one.
I left around 1.30pm leaving Dave & Nige still there, Nige does not remember getting home and had a bit of a fuzzy head the following day - well what else are birthdays for !!!.
