Review

Four intrepid chaps, Ian, Nige, Simbers & Chap assembled in the Old Royal at 3.45pm. Large quantities of ale flowed whilst watching some tennis & cricket on offer. We were soon joined by Phil who whilst making a vain attempt to catch up informed us of his latest business ventures. At one point he mentioned being a landscape gardener  and likened himself to a chap of the telly - this was quickly changed to Charlie Dymock !!, long hair & big tits (some sort of resemblance to Phil I think !!.). Various conversations were had including discussing dumping conditions at Glastonbury and as to why Agassi had married Steffi Graph (Chap's response to this question was so she could shove her nose up his ring piece whilst having a 69 !!). Also discussed was whether Syrup should be put in the WATN file since he last appearance on a session is nearly two years ago!!!. For a change, we won the cricket quite comfortably and left the OR with Henman 2-0 up in the tennis.

The Chaps the lobbed in to McBurgers for some tea, Simbers the greedy git had to wait whilst they killed the cow for his two Big Mac's !!. We then left for O'Neills but Simbers diverted us to another pub on the way called the Solomon Cutler. Should have known by the name and the bathroom (Polish your knob sir ??) attendant, that this place was not a real Chap venue, however we did see Henbez win his match whilst finishing a quick pint. We were also joined by Catherine, one of Phil's friends who was bored enough top come out on the lash with five 30 something chaps.

From the SC to O'Neill's which was strangely quiet for a Saturday night, we only stayed in here for a quick pint before moving off to the Tap & Spile in an attempt to find some outside seating. Thwarted on the seating arrangements, but the Bombardier beer provided ample compensation. Cat brought a round for the Chaps, so she's quite welcome to come out again !!.We discussed other topics from Simbers shirt looking like a Blackpool deck chair, Chap's regulation 'Dustman' green trousers, Phil's entrepreneurial ideas and a debate on who was the artist on the Juke box, Cameo, Imagination or Shalamar???. Around 10.45pm Ian & Simbers bailed out to get the train, leaving the remaining three chaps & Cat to lob up to the Adam & Eve.

The A & E provided the usual decent beer & music to finish off the evening and Rog made a late appearance (arriving from Penzance on the train!!!). Rog & Chap went to Sharma's for a curry leaving Phil, Nige & Cat in the A & E listening to the music.
