Heggy's birthday Session - 10th November (England v Sweden friendly)

Due to FIFA regulations, Simbers ground has been declared unfit (new carpet in the living room !!!!), so the Chaps will assemble in the Troc around 2.00pm for the 3.00pm kick off.

Usual after match entertainments will apply !!.

Review

The Chaps assembled in the Troc from around 1:45pm, a bit like Noah herding the animals in to the Ark !!. The game wasn't up to much, and we would probably been more entertained by the Eng vs. Aus Rugby match, however the cheapskates at the Troc don't possess the ability to have more than one Sky channel on at a time. Plenty of ale was being consumed though, and then there was the surprise of the day when Sponge arrived minus the tosh, the top lip has not seen the light of day for some years!!.

After a couple of sorties to McDonald's for a food stop the Chaps legged it down to PJ's for the usual thrashing by the quiz machine. Oh! for those halcyon days when we could cream the 'Give us a break' machine in Planters !!!. After a good thrasing, Tory Boy - Ian decided it was time to bail out, at this point the chaps decided to move on to Zanzibar to see if the rumours of free beer were true.

Arriving at Zanzibar, the Chaps were greeted with a voucher allowing a free drink & a quid off the next four, what an invitation, which was quickly consumed. A bit of dancing followed and some general chit chat. Tone took the monster lombing session to the extreme, basically being asleep for about an hour or so. This continued in the taxi all the way home. At about 12:30 Sponge, Tone & Me bailed out to let the more battled hardened chaps Phil, Dave, Nige & Heggy to carry on in to the wee small hours.
