England V Sweden Euro Game - 15th June 2012

Plan for the day

Meet up in the Queens Arms (Newhall Street) from 6.30pm, game starts at 7.45pm

Review

The Chaps meet up in the QA for the usual bollocks served up by Engerland. Not as much hype had surrounded this tournament so it appeared from the out-set to be a low key affair. With plenty of ale following as well as rain pouring outside, we settled down to watch the game in a packed pub.

England took the lead and as per usual against the Swedes proceeded to screw up shortly after half time finding themselves 2-1 down with around 20mins to go. An inspired substitution by 'Woy' changed all that when he brought on Wallcott to stir thinks up a bit. Wallcott equalised and then sent the pub in to rapture with around 10mins left when he set up Wellbeck to score the winner. For once Engerland had done the job, cue more beer drinking and dancing round the pub.

Good night to be an England fan for a change!!
