Change of venue from the OR - Meet in the Corner House (Old Hogs head) around 4.00pm. K.O is 5.00pm, hopefully they will have some decent draft beers on.

The Chaps, Dave, Rog, Tone, Simbers & Chap meet up in the Corner House to attempt to watch the England match. However, the big screen had disappeared so we headed off to the usual haunt the Old Royal. The football was rather 'Svenesque' to say the least as England struggled to a 0-0 draw, but it did give the chaps plenty of time to discuss other matters as well as consume plenty of beers. The footy now just provides another excuse to go out on the lash with the lads rather than any entertainment value - wonder how short McNumpties reign will be??. We were joined later by Steve and Phil in the OR for a few beers before heading off to a new watering hole.
We took the short walk down to the Actress and Bishop, what is now a regular chap haunt to see what was in store for us there. More ale was consumed as well as few top notch cigars (this one about to blow Phil's head off). However, the night was strangely subdued (maybe due to the Maclaren brand of football) and some of the chaps headed off home early. Tone first followed by Simbers and Rog, leaving Dave, Phil Steve and Chap to carry on. Steve did a bit of 'hair styling' and decided to stay behind for a head-bang after persuading the DJ to play some suitable music. Dave, Phil and Chap bailed around 11.00pm!!! and didn't make it for a ruby - a strange event indeed - maybe old age is catching up!!
