Meet in the Old Royal around 5.00pm

The Chaps assembled at the usual starting watering hole (The Old Royal) to celebrate the forty-something birthday of Mr Fish. Nige, Ian, Phil, Steve B. and Chap arrived on the correct day whilst Tone & Steve W. were still there from last week apparently after getting the dates mixed up!!. It was also nice to see that Heggy and Ted had heeded the WATN warnings and made an appearance to have their yellow cards rescinded (hope Syrup & Sponge are taking note). Plenty of beers were consumed as is the norm whilst having a bit of social chat & a Blue-tooth session with Chap & Phil!!!. Later in the proceedings we were also joined by Maxine, Dave & Co before departing for Scruffy Duffy's on Broad Street.
A reasonable band were on at Scruffy's, enabling the chaps to throw more all down their necks and also join in with a variety of vocal support for the band as well as Steve's customary head banging slot. Simbers made a late appearance after attending a 'green-welly' session earlier in the evening whilst it seemed Phil was doing his level best to be photographed with attractive women!!
A few people sidled off home leaving Dave, Chap, Phil, Steve and Ted to be forced to go to Shah's for a curry to polish of a good days work.
