17:30 - 19:00 - meet up in the Old Royal.
19:00 - 21:00 - New Soho Tavern for a curry.
21:00 - Back to town for final celebrations.
It was good to see Steve B out at long last and a fair old turnout of chaps (9 in all) made it out for the release party. initially arriving at the OR around 5.30pm, we stayed there till 7.30pm having a few beers & diet coke!!, whilst catching up form the past 2 & 1/2 years.
We grabbed a couple of taxis up to the New Soho Tavern for a ruby. When we arrived the place was rammed so we had to wait around for about an hour before getting a table. It was well worth the wait with the chaps ordering a couple of Danny mixed grills, extra Tandoori lamb chops and a couple of plates of fish pakora to share for starters. This proved enough for some of the chap who could not manage a curry afterward but some of the more sterling chaps, Steve included did, Jamie even managed a mixed grill!!.
Good evening ended up leaving the SHT by taxi back to town to head off home.
