Review

Phil, Dave & Steve met down the Newt for a few beers & a bit of cricket watching, whilst Chap, Tone & Steve (Tone's brother) met up the Troc. The Newt trio duly arrived at the Troc about 7.15 to join up with the fellow ales swillers. It was decided not to go to the Flapper, so a jaunt up to O'Neill's on Broad street was in order, apart from Tone who decided to take a strange pitstop in the Brasshouse ???).

The Guinness flowed well in O'Neill's as well as other pleasantries of the evening. Bonbes then came up with a splendid idea of hitting the Adam & Eve for the last few. Dave was sceptical as he had never managed a late drink in there without it been raided!!!. However, Chap assured him that they had a late licence and there should be no problem.

A taxi ride later we were in the A & E, minus Tone who had bailed out at this point, so it was left to Dave, Phil, Steve & Chap to play a bit of pool (gamble £20 quid on a game which the Fishman duly pocketed!!!), munch through a few bags of pork scratchings and drink a few more pints of the black nectar, as well as listen to the resident band. Originally a curry had been on the agenda, but three out of the four remaining Chap's were too tired !!!! (boring bastards!!!!) at 1.40am in the morning. In the end Chap had to make do with an S & K pie and chips from Marcos.
