Meet up in the Temple Street Social from 6.30pm (opposite the Old Planters Bar)
8.00pm - onwards TBC
Tone, Ian & Simbers arrived early in TSS soon followed by Chap & Phil. Not a bad place to meet up with some decent beer and cider to be had in pleasant surroundings. Topics of discussion ranged from the paralympics with Simbers expressing his slightly right of Genghis Khan policies about them, life imprisonment following the 21 year sentence given to the 'Nutter of Norway' for his massacre, and also the next DTW session in Cornwall, which also gave rise to comments about the gay-cowboy theme again.
The chaps lobbed over to the OJS for a few more ales and discussion. Topics this time included golf, cars as Ian was about to get a new mota, drinking with Ollie and also the rise of the Cornwall Challenge. The Cornwall Challenge was issued by Ian the Tory to Phil the 'fat match-stick' about who could supp the most in a day. The challenge was laid down to take place on the Friday of the planned DTW in October. After a few more beers Big T bailed out with a dodgy stomach leaving the chaps to head on to pastures new.
The remaining 4 chaps headed to the Pub du Vin for a swift beer, the ale was not particularly good on this occasion and as the night drew on the Dorridge Dozers headed for the train leaving Chap and Phil to head for the OC's for a final beer or 3.
Phil & Chap were kicked out of the OC's around 11.30pm to head home after supping 3 swift ciders.
Looking forward to DTW & the Cornwall Challenge!!
