This turned out to be the Chap and Simbers show as too many of the chaps were church bazaaring elsewhere!.
We started off in the OC's and had a quick couple in there before moving off to the Pub du Vin - a quick pint in here interspersed with the strange gothic lass from Tipton trying to organize her wedding in the PdV because it was 'Italian' like her Grandmother - a surreal experience that Chap decided to avoid going through again when ordering at the bar!
Off up to Edmunds for some more decent ale and dammed fine company if one might say before nipping over to the Wellington for some real ale and scratchings. After a five hour sprint we decided to head back to the OC's for one final pint before returning home for the night. leaving the Wally was not the best option as we got absolutely soaked walking back to the OC's.
But as the saying goes, wet outside wet inside!!
