Review

The last chap session of 2008 saw Phil and Chap meet up in the Corner House for a swift beer. We were attempting to watch the Villa v West Ham game, but as they had no Banana sports on an alternative venue had to be found. We were joined by Dave with his new look for 2009 - 'Mr Security' and following a quick beer we headed of down to the Corner House's sister pub the Queens Arms.

The Queens Arms is not a bad footy watching venue with decent real ales, proper scratchings and all the main sports channels. The three chaps were joined by Simbers to watch the Villa glide skilfully to another 3 points against 'Wet Spam'!! - only kidding here, 'slide' might be a more appropriate word at this time of year for a rather fortuitous 1 - 0 victory.

After the match we opted for one of Phil's choices of pub the Victoria down by the Alexandra theatre, We were joined by Steve to celebrate another year of chapdom. Not a bad venue with decent ale and music being played until the early hours of the morning. However, following Sim's departure, Chap and Steve decided to head for the Royal for a ruby. Dave joined us half way through the starters after doing his 'security' round checking that Phil and his mate Ian could cope with further partying on into the wee small hours.

Another year comes to a close time, to move on to 2009.
