Meet in Edmunds from 6.00pm
Later off to the All Bar One for a 40th Birthday bash (Jane England's)
Chap and Phil were 1st to arrive in Edmunds followed shortly after by Ian and Tone. Beers and conversation under way we were soon joined by Dave. Simber's had briefly threatened to turn up but after a 30hr return trip from Cambodia he failed to show. Topics were the usual mix of politics and sport plus other bits of banter thrown in particularly about Mr SB's lack of alcohol consumption on the Ale Trail.
Next port of call was the All bar One, Chap and Tone went on a forward scouting mission to find the birthday party in full swing and the beer prices to be extortionate at £5 per pint. A quick retreat was in order, passing Dave, Phil, Kitty, Ian and Steve H on the way. Ian & Steve decided to rejoin Chap and Tone back in Edmunds for some more chat and reasonable ale prices. Mr Fish also joined the party.
Around about 10.20 Alex joined the Chaps for his first Chap outing!!, he had been doing a shift at Purnell's Bistro and nipped in for a sneaky cider!!.
Proceedings were wrapped up for the chaps around 11.00pm, except for Phil and Kitty who never returned.
